What does Smartform do?
Smartform lets you build contact forms in the Shopify admin and send submissions via your own SMTP to a recipient address you choose. Place the form in your theme with the “SMTP Form” block.
How do I install and open the app?
Install Smartform from the Shopify App Store or your install link. After that, always open the app from the Shopify admin — you don’t need a separate login on this website.
Are form submissions stored in the app?
No. Storefront submissions are sent by SMTP to the configured recipient and are not kept permanently in the app database.
Where do I configure SMTP and the recipient?
Manage SMTP credentials under “SMTP settings” in the app. Set the recipient email for each form in the form builder.
What’s included in the Free plan?
The Free plan includes up to 3 forms with text, email, phone, and textarea fields. Extra field types, multilingual content, and custom CSS are part of Pro.
How do I place a form in my store?
Go to Online Store → Themes → Customize, add the “SMTP Form” block, and select the form you want.
